  • New Trailer For Lego City Undercover

The more I see of Lego City Undercover, the more I really think this could become a game that could move some Wii U consoles….with the right marketing. This newest trailer has a lot of gameplay footage including car chases, tightrope action between rooftops and a look at how the Wii U gamepad will be used in the game. Now that I have just finished Sleeping Dogs this should easily fill the hole in the open-world game spot in my heart.

    [amazon_link id=”B002I0K3PM” target=”_blank” container=”” container_class=”” ]Lego City Undercover[/amazon_link] releases on March 18th.

We will have your review up for it as soon as we can, but to get you ready for your return to the Sulaco and LV-426 here is an extended trailer which shows the marines fighting their way through the xenomorph horde level by level.

And if this wan’t enough, be sure and check out all the rest of the Aliens: Colonial Marines videos.

  • New Tomb Raider Video Shows Off More Base Camp And Fast Travel System

The newest trailer for [amazon_link id=”B004FS8LYK” target=”_blank” container=”” container_class=”” ]Tomb Raider[/amazon_link] is here and it unlocks a few more of Laura’s abilities she will learn on the island.

First is the fast travel option which is unlocked when Laura finds new basecamps throughout the island. When these are opened up Laura can access them at any time by going to the map and can fast travel between the camps much like Far Cry 3. This is important because it looks like backtracking is the name of the game for unlocking all the secrets the island has to offer. Much like Metroid you can not access all of the island to begin with but can return later with your new found abilities which include making your own ziplines with your bow and arrow and rope you find as well as a powerful shotgun that can blast its way into new areas.

Tomb Raider releases on March 5th. It can not come soon enough.

  • Trailer For Rob Zombie’s The Lords Of Salem

Rob Zombie and I have a bit of a love/hate relationship with his movies. While I was rather indifferent about House of a 1000 Corpses its followup, The Devil’s Reject,s was a much better structured horror flick. Next, he reinvented the Michael Myers legend with his remake of Halloween which I still hold as the second best in the series behind the original. Then came the inevitable sequel which took everything good he did in the first film and proceeded to take a massive dump on it.

The trailer for The Lords of Salem has given me a little hope that Zombie is getting back to the feel of Rejects.

The trailer seems like it has a lot of influences flowing through it. The Devil’s Rejects, Rosemary’s Baby and The Wicker Man (the classic, not the Nic Cage debacle) all seem to be guiding the way Zombie is crafting this movie.

The Lords of Salem stars Sheri Moon Zombie (per usual and with no complaints from me), Sid Haig, Bruce Davison and Clint Howard, who is working more than Ron these days. It will releases on April 19th.

  • 3 Minute Extended Trailer For Fast & Furious 6

How odd is it to realize that the Fast series is about the have its sixth movie release? Paul Walker should definitely be thankful because I am pretty sure it has paid his mortgage for the past ten years. While I was never a huge fan of the first four in the series, the fifth (Fast Five) was undeniably fun to me because it got away from the street racing scene (which I officially give zero cares about) and turned it into a Oceans 11 heist movie on steroids.

Now the gang is all back together again in the new trailer for Fast & Furious 6 which sees them offered full pardons for their help in catching a new big bad played by Luke Wilson and assisted by Michelle Rodriguez who has died in more movies and shows than I care to count.

Fast & Furious 6 releases on May 24th.

  • Star Trek Into Darkness Super Bowl Ad, Release Date Changed

    ” I am better.”

    “At what?”

    “Everything.”

Benedict Cumberbatch was apparently talking to all the other movie trailers that were shown at the Super Bowl because this newest one for Star Trek Into Darkness is thirty seconds of goosebumpy, nerdy feels.

Can I just say how awesome it is to get Chris Pine in the yellow Starfleet uniform, which we really only got a glimpse of it at the end of 2009’s Star Trek. It also looks as if the Enterprise has see better days as we see it plummeting to Earth.

We are still taking bets on Cumberbatch’s role. Khan? Possibly. Gary Mitchell? Unlikely since the monthly comic series that bridges the two movies has already had a re-telling of that tale. Maybe he is playing a chryogenically frozen Sherlock that has been thawed out in the future and embraced his madness. The possibilities!

Star Trek Into Darkness releases on May 17th……NOPE!!

People that downloaded the official movie app were given the announcement first that Star Trek Into Darkness will now open on Wednesday, May 15th with showtimes beginning at 8PM.

  • Iron Man 3 Extended Super Bowl Trailer

If you were like me then you spent a good part of last night’s Super Bowl waiting for the Iron Man 3 trailer. And also, if you were like me, then you were a little disappointed when it was a snippet of an airplane rescue.

    Fear not true believers!!

The extended trailer (which the Super Bowl ad shared the link to) completely makes up for it. For all you ladies, you get thirty straight seconds of Robert Downey Jr. then we get to see more footage including Happy not looking so happy, Rhodey in full Iron Patriot armor and more Ben Kingsley as The Mandarin. I really don’t see why Disney didn’t foot the bill and put the full trailer up last night.

  • Bioshock Infinite ‘City In The Sky’ Trailer

    skylinebankfight_ONLINE1

I guess a more appropriate title for the video should have been Bioshock Infinite “Holy God I Am Actually Having Thoughts That This May Be Better Than The Original” Trailer.

Irrational Games continues to put the want in my heart for [amazon_link id=”B003O6E6NE” target=”_blank” container=”” container_class=”” ]Bioshock Infinite[/amazon_link]. My mind strays to [amazon_link id=”B007CM0K86″ target=”_blank” container=”” container_class=”” ]The Last of Us[/amazon_link] or the new consoles coming this fall but then here comes Bioshock Infinite every few weeks with a new trailer that slaps me in the face and says “don’t forget what you really want”.

  • God Of War: Ascension Single Player Trailer

    2013_god_of_war_ascension-1600x1200

Sony has released this 30 second video for [amazon_link id=”B0050SXCQ6″ target=”_blank” container=”” container_class=”” ]God of War: Ascension[/amazon_link]. In it, Kratos is chained up and is all mopey and depressing. You know…Kratos. Then he gets all revenge-y and we see some great looking gameplay that the series is always known for.

Go check out the video below and get your Kratos fix until March 12th when God of War: Ascension is released.
