  • Knights Of Badassdom Has Peter Dinklage LARPing. You Will Watch This Movie.

Knights of Badassdom has been completed for two years. I am guessing that it was looking like straight-to-home fare, but now that Peter Dinklage is a household name with Game of Thrones, it is looking like there is money to be made. The thing about KOB is that the cast is actually pretty damn good with Dinklage, Steve Zahn, Summer Glau and Danny Pudi.

Check out the trailer. I got a few chuckles out of it and any time Summer Glau is on screen it is medically proven to add four minutes of life to any man.

  • Rambo: The Video Game Looks Really Bad. Sign Me Up!

Holy Sweet Baby Jesus do I want Rambo: The Video Game.

    Why?

After watching the trailer you may begin to think I have lost my ability for cognitive thought and you may not be far off from the truth, but dammit, as bad as this game looks I want to play this. This game that looks like it was developed eight years ago and gives Rambo the most insanely wonderful, yet sh**y hair ever put in code.

I can hear your judgmental thoughts and I am fine with it. We all love some sh**. Why did I pay money to go see The Scorpion King in theaters? Hell, I don’t know, but I did.

Just remember, “they drew first blood, not me”.

  • Assassin’s Creed IV Looks Insanely Fun. This Sounds Familiar.

Alright Assassin’s Creed. You and I have a checkered history. You were great in the first two games then it became hard to spend as much time with you anymore. You just couldn’t change. Like a lazy lover I kept coming back and expecting to be wowed and left disappointed. Then you put on a shiny new dress and got some plastic surgery and said you were a changed person with AC3 and I was excited once again and dammit if you didn’t do the exact…same…thing to me.

I’m done. That’s it. No more!

Not even you trying to do your best Jack Sparrow and becoming a pirate can sway me. I have seen your naval battles before, but I can’t justify $60 on you.

Sooo what you doing this fall? You free to hang out a bit? I know we’ve had rough times babe, but we can give it a go.

  • Grand Theft Auto V Gameplay Trailer

Here is the gameplay trailer for [amazon_link id=”B0050SXKU4″ target=”_blank” container=”” container_class=”” ]Grand Theft Auto V[/amazon_link] and even if you are not a fan of the GTA series there is no way you can say that this doesn’t look ambitious as hell.

The trailer gives you a great look at how the switching mechanic will work between the three protagonists allowing you to drop in at any time between missions and see what they are up to in their daily lives. Working in tandem during heists looks like it will be a fun new aspect as well as splitting the take where you can buy cars or even play the stock market. Rockstar looks like they have streamlined the HUD as well with a quick select wheel for weapons and a new focus on gunplay which was always such a huge part of GTA that was lacking.

Grand Theft Auto V releases on September 17th.

  • Third Trailer For Elysium Is More Of The Same. That Is Good.

    http://youtu.be/UNDZ2e_7ztM

Here is trailer #3 for Neill Blomkamp’s Elysium starring Matt Damon and Jodie Foster. Most of the footage has already been seen in the previous two, but the new small snippets are still worth watching. You do get some exciting new shots of Matt Damon and Sharlto Copley playing human mech action figures and that alone should sell you on a ticket.

    Elysium releases on August 8th.

  • Stallone And Schwarzenegger Want To Escape From Jesus In Escape Plan

Here is the first trailer from the Stallone and Schwarzenegger action flick Escape Plan. It looks like pretty standard fare when it comes to the two vets, but that’s not really a bad thing. Stallone plays a prison expert who is tasked with breaking out of incarceration to show weak points in security. When he is kidnapped and put away in a special prison called “The Tomb” he must find a way out and figure out who put him away. This is not to be confused with the wonderful Playstation Vita game of the same name.

The movie also stars our Lord and Savior Jim Caviezel, the giant cockroach from Law & Order, a guy that used to be a famous rapper and Michael Scott’s girlfriend.

Escape Plan releases on September 27th.

  • 300: Rise Of An Empire Trailer Is Cercei-rrific

Hard to believe it has already been six years since 300. Remember all the finely sculpted abs, slow-motion fighting and Lena Headey’s nipples? Seriously, go back and watch it. They are glass cutters.

Anyway, there is always room for a follow-up and so there is 300: Rise of an Empire and the first trailer has just gone up. In it, we get Headey’s Queen Gorgo giving inspiring words as Xerxes and his naval commander Artemisia plan a sea attack on the Greeks to break them.

If you remember 300 then you know exactly what you are getting in this trailer. For me, that is not a bad thing.

300: Rise of an Empire releases on March 7, 2014.

  • Watch Dogs Gameplay Hacks Open The File Labeled Awesome

Ever since its debut at last year’s E3, Watch Dogs has continued to astound and the new gameplay demo shown at the Sony press conference is no different. In it, our protagonist, Aiden Pearce has to help a friend in need as the cops are on the lookout for both of them. Personally, my favorite part of the demo is when Aiden notices a guy calling 911 and he walks up and busts his phone on the ground. If I am able to do that to anyone in the game I can already tell that way too much time will be spent being an utter dickhead. No phone will be safe!

Watch Dogs releases on November 19th for PS3, 360 and Wii U. No release date has been given for next-gen consoles.
