  • Samsung’s Galaxy Mega Asks If You Can Handle 6 Inches

    Hey, are you one of those people walking around with a Galaxy Note I or II in your pocket as people wonder what is the bulge in your pants? Well guess what? It’s not the biggest anymore. That’s right, Samsung has moved one step closer to telling you to buy a Galaxy Tab and tape it to your head.

    Introducing the Galaxy Mega. This big bastard comes in two sizes: the 5.8 inch “Look At Me And My Ridiculous Phone” and the 6.3 inch “It’s Big In China Phone”. They will come in 8 and 16GB versions and will support microSD cards up to 64GB. The 5.8 inch comes with a 960 x 540 resolution and the 6.3 inch is equipped with 1280 x 720 so you can read all the sad, lonely posts of your “friends” on Facebook in face melting high quality.

    No North American release date has been given, but Europe and Russia will be getting them in May. Really? Russia is getting them before us? How many vodka and beet dinners will have to be forsaken to afford this thing?

    Now I will readily admit that I am not the Metro 2033 expert around here (that would be our very own Trey Sterling), but I do know that fans are a rabid bunch and the first game sold well enough to warrant a sequel. Metro is set in a post-apocalyptic Russia and will apparently kick your ass if you play lazy. A unique HUD and your ability to ration out your items made sure the game was not for the weak at heart.

    This new trailer for Metro: Last Light basically proves to me one thing: no matter what horrors beset the human race in the future, one thing is always crystal clear. Mankind are a bunch of assholes.

    A brand new trailer has gone online for the fifth Die Hard entry, A Good Day To Die Hard. It is not very different from previous trailers but if you are a Die Hard fanatic (raises hand) then you know what to expect. John McClane heads to Russia to help his son who is on the heels of a Russian terrorist with nuclear weapons. Does it sound different from most action movies? No. Do I care? No, it’s Die Hard.   • New Trailer For A Good Day To Die Hard

    John McClane Takes His “Talents” To Russia.

    Die Hard is one of the greatest movies ever made. So now that you know that I am a man by that statement I will also say that I am a sucker for all of the sequels. They suck me in and there is no escape. Whether it is Renny Harlin’s over the top action or Bruce Willis walking around New York with a racial sandwich board I am there. I am even forgiving of the fourth entry and will say it was not a “bad” movie.

    Now the fifth installment is on its way and a new trailer has just been released. A Good Day To Die Hard sees John McClane headed to Russia for another “fish out of water” story. It is kind of like the first movie where he is out of place coming from NY to LA, just on a much larger scale. It looks like it will be fun and let’s face it, that’s all we ask Die Hard to be.
