  • Star Trek Into Darkness Clip Takes Kirk Further Down The Rabbit Hole

First things first, if you are any kind of lifelong Star Trek fan then I warn you that watching this clip will completely give away something huge if you pay very close attention.

    Still here?

Paramount has released this clip from Star Trek Into Darkness titled “I Allow It” and it has a tense back and forth between Chirs Pine’s Kirk and Benedict Cumberbatch’s John Harrison. The two parry well off of each other with Kirk letting his emotions lead him while his nemesis is calm, cold and collected.

Star Trek Into Darkness releases on May 17th, but if you attend the early IMAX screenings you will get a free poster.

Also don’t forget that we are giving away some free Star Trek items!

  • Michael Bay Says His Ninja Turtles Come From Ooze, Thinks Everyone Is A Complete Moron.

Michael Bay’s TMNT is happening whether we want it to or not. Megan Fox is playing April O’Neil whether we want it or not. The turtles are going to be aliens whether we want it or…..wait what’s that? They are not going to be aliens? But Bay was famously going to change them into aliens and also not have them be teenagers effectively eliminating half of the title.

Wait, now he says that they are now back to their original origin story with the ooze and not just that, but that there was never eeeeeever a plan to make them alien.

“There was that quote saying that we’re making [the Ninja Turtles as] aliens. We’re not, It’s the ooze! It’s from the original source material. These are from the original writers, and I never went out to correct myself in the press. I do listen to the fans and I do want this to be authentic. I think they’re going to be really happy with this movie. When I see the digital stuff, the turtles look great.”

Oh, go eat a bag of dicks Michael Bay.

There are interviews with people involved with the project that confirmed they were going to be aliens and then when that leaked out there was a mystery halt in the project so the script could be re-written. You think all is forgiven for adding ooze into the script? God you giant douche nozzle. He thinks most people are morons and can say what ever he wants. And honestly because Transformers 2 & 3 made a billion dollars each I can see why he thinks that a bit.

  • New Fast & Furious 6 Trailer Is One Big Eyegasm

I seriously feel conflicted. I did not care about the first four movies in the “Fast” franchise. I have seen them and just let them blow by me without an ounce of caring.

    What happened??

They had to go and make Fast Five an Ocean’s 11 heist flick with extra balls and action, add in The Rock and I had to realize that I, in fact, liked the damn movie. Now here we are two years later and I am ready for Fast & Furious 6 more than I really should be. I apologize for nothing.

I am still confused as to why after Fast Five they did not name this Furious Six. It just works!

  • Wait…MORE Star Trek Into Darkness Posters? Yep.

Damn Paramount. I think you have officially taken over the “king of the movie posters” from Harry Potter. At this rate by the time the movie releases we should have about 38 more one sheets. Karl Urban’s Bones is a big fan of Samuel L. Jackson in Deep Blue Sea apparently.

  • Zack Snyder Talks About Henry Cavill In Man Of Steel. “Holy Sh**, That’s Superman.”

Zack Snyder gave an interview in SFX Magazine about his upcoming Man of Steel and was asked about his impressions of Henry Cavill taking over the iconic role.

“God, he’s so Supermanish it’s crazy! There was a telling moment – we put him in the Christopher Reeve costume, because we didn’t have a suit yet, we just had the old spandex suit. He stepped out of the trailer and no one laughed. It’s the difference between being Superman and dressing up like Superman. If I’m dressed up like Superman it’s like a Halloween costume. If you’re Henry it’s your clothes. It’s awesome. Watch the movie and you’re like ‘Holy shit, that’s Superman.’ And it’s not weird or crazy, it’s just cool.”

Snyder may have given the best explanation about what makes a Superman in that paragraph when he talks about the difference as dressing up as Superman and being Superman.

You can read other excerpts from the interview here. Man of Steel releases on June 14th.

In case you haven’t seen it, here is the newest trailer.

  • See Man Of Steel Early Thanks To…Wal-Mart? New Image Released.

This new image above will be titled simply ‘Merica.

If you, like me, are counting down the days until the release of Man of Steel (49 days) then Wal-Mart is offering you a chance to shave a few hours off of that wait. The big, evil corporation will be selling early screening tickets the the summer’s biggest movie beginning May 18th at 8AM in over 3,700 stores that will let them watch the movie at special 7PM showings on June 13th.

The tickets will also come with a code that will allow you to go ahead and pre-order the movie on Blu-Ray and receive a free digital comic written by the movie’s writer David Goyer.

This is actually a new idea that I could get behind. Now before you go off spouting your hatred of Wal-Mart as the Hitler of retailers just pull back a bit bleeding hearts. I think in idea alone this is a great idea and may be a look forward to what future movie blockbusters could end up doing. There is a large amount of people that I can see buying tickets in this fashion.

Man of Steel releases on June 14th.

  • New Star Trek Into Darkness Posters Make Up For Yesterday’s Mistake

And by mistake, I meant that there was no Scotty or Chekov posters with the batch that came out yesterday. Simon Pegg is getting his best Carl Lewis going and Anton Yelchin looks like he just realized he is wearing a red shirt.

Wait…why is Chekov wearing a red shirt? Is he going to bite it in the sequel? Damn. Cold blooded.

Star Trek Into Darkness releases on May 17th.

  • Bishop Confirmed For X-Men: Days Of Future’s Past!

Bryan Singer, you magnificent bastard! I love you as much as I love fried foods and that is saying a hell of a lot.

The director sent out a Vine video on his Twitter of cast chairs on the set of X-Men: Days of Future’s Past and this beauty was in there.

    bishop

Now I was already looking forward to DOFP, but now this is getting damn ridiculous. Also among the chairs shown was one for Warpath, which means this cast is getting insane in how awesome it is. I swear to almighty God if they announce Cable is in this I am going to lose my damn mind and may even pee my pants some.

Actor Omar Sy was cast in an unspecified role in early March and it seems to be that it was for the role of Bishop. Wear the M proudly!

  • Marvel Regains Daredevil Movie Rights. And There Was Much Rejoicing.

Twentieth Century Fox’s inability to get another Daredevil feature film off the ground has cost them the rights to the character. Full rights now revert back to Marvel giving them the ability to move forward with a new movie.

Marvel has not gone on record saying that a Daredevil film is in their future plans, but with a character as well-known as The Man Without Fear there is no way he will sit dormant for long. This is also exctiting because now there is another character that can be involved with other Marvel characters at Disney including The Avengers.

Now let the dream casting begin! Leave your favorites below in the comments.
