EA’s UFC Glitches Prove Better Than The Game
While EA’s first UFC game is receiving middling to decent reviews, the glitches in the MMA title are worthy of a perfect score, especially when watched with commentary by (fake) Mike Goldberg and Joe Rogan.
Be careful watching this around people. I laughed till I cried, I sh** you not.

Pixar
Yes, we led with Pixar two days in a row. Yesterday, it was because The Incredibles and Ratatouille were being re-released in 3D. Today, it is because Brad Bird, creator, writer and director of the first Incredibles is writing the script for a sequel. If I were not a large man, I would be jumping for joy.
Maleficent
Disney has released a new trailer for Maleficent and it further makes me feel indifferent about the movie. Why do we feel the need make bad guys likable? Sometimes people are fu**ed up. Let them be that, not some person who was good and became bad because they were made that way by someone more evil.
Peanuts
Many (like me) were worried when it was announced that a movie would be made from Peanuts. After watching this first teaser trailer I am hopeful that it will retain the spirit of the comic strip and cartoon. There is something about hearing the Peanuts theme that brings a smile.

Gotham
Here is the first look of Robin Lord Taylor as Oswald Cobblepot in Gotham. Another notch in the win column.
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Well, I was excited about Deathlok, until the TV budget showed up. New Power Rangers are a go.

The game finally gets updated with offline play today. Only a year late and when most have given up on the game.
UFC
EA Sports has released a new trailer for their MMA game coming to Xbox One and PS4 this spring. It is the first extensive look at the graphics in-game and it is looking damn impressive.

EA Sports UFC To Feature Jon Jones And One Fan-Voted Fighter
EA Sports has revealed that current UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones will be on the cover of their first UFC game due sometime next year.
Now that they have gotten one half of the cover right it is up to us, the fans, to make the other half just as good. EA is letting fans vote on the other fighter that will share the cover with Jones through a tournament of 16 gladiators of the Octagon.
The 16 fighters are: Demetrious Johnson, Dominick Cruz, Urijah Faber, Jose Aldo, Benson Henderson, Georges St-Pierre, Johny Hendricks, Chris Weidman, Junior dos Santos, Chael Sonnen, Michael Bisping, Anthony Pettis, Daniel Cormier, Ronda Rousey, Miesha Tate and Alexander Gustafsson.
All you have to do is go and vote for your favorite fighter. Voting on Round 1 ends November 10th.

Female Fighters Coming To EA Sports UFC
Photo courtesy joystiq.com Do you like your ass kicking to be of the female variety? EA is listening. They have revealed that female fighters will join the roster of their UFC game next year. Ronda Rousey and Miesha Tate were the first two fighters announced with more coming before the game launches next spring.
If you have not watched any female MMA fights, you are missing out because they are regularly some of the best or the best on the card. Also, if you think their fighting style is any less brutal than the mens, check out what happened the last time Tata and Rousey fought.

EA Sports Next-Gen Trailer Round-Up

Madden NFL 25
The 25th anniversary title for Madden will be a launch title and while it may look full of pretty, I think we all know from EA’s track record that it will be stripped of features available in the current-gen versions. The “Madden rule” for next gen consoles. Wait for the third game.
NBA Live 14
I have always been a fan of the NBA Live series over NBA 2K (but even I can’t accept the last few Live games). Here is hoping EA can actually get this game to a finished product because if it sees one more setback, EA should just consider their NBA franchise dead.
FIFA 14
If there is one franchise EA has to take care of, it is FIFA. It is the biggest selling game in their sports library and they always have to look over their shoulder to make sure they are still ahead of Pro Evolution Soccer.
UFC
Despite THQ’s woes, their UFC games were very fun and always impressive looking. Now EA looks to bring the feel of the Octagon to their UFC franchise. They had a good start with their own EA Sports MMA a few years back so let’s hope they can have good momentum going into the first game with UFC.
