Artist Mark Englert has created this beautiful poster for Star Trek Into Darkness. The best part is that if you attend one of the 8PM IMAX showings on May 15th, you will be receiving one of these posters in your grubby little hands.
Be sure and check to see if your local theater will be offering the posters here.

Damn Paramount. I think you have officially taken over the “king of the movie posters” from Harry Potter. At this rate by the time the movie releases we should have about 38 more one sheets. Karl Urban’s Bones is a big fan of Samuel L. Jackson in Deep Blue Sea apparently.
And by mistake, I meant that there was no Scotty or Chekov posters with the batch that came out yesterday. Simon Pegg is getting his best Carl Lewis going and Anton Yelchin looks like he just realized he is wearing a red shirt.
Wait…why is Chekov wearing a red shirt? Is he going to bite it in the sequel? Damn. Cold blooded.
Here is a new batch of character posters from the UK marketing of Star Trek Into Darkness. Kirk, Spock, Bones, Uhura, Carol Marcus, Sulu and Benedict Cumberbatch’s mysterious John Harrison are all featured.
Now if I could just ask one question? Where in the purple-blooded Klingon hell are Scotty and Chekov? I know Alice Eve is hot and all (by me pausing her “space undie” scene in the trailer can attest), but you are going to releases seven posters and not just go ahead and make it nine and add two of the main crew?
Here are three new posters for Star Trek Into Darkness. The first shows the Enterprise falling to Earth and the ones below have Spock praying to an almighty volcano god and Uhura wishing she didn’t have to contractually come back and do two more Avatar movies.
A new trailer for the movie releases online Tuesday.
Are you ready? I know I’m ready. We are just over a month away from the release of Star Trek Into Darkness. A new poster has just been released featuring Benedict Cumberbatch as John Harrison/Khan/George Mitchell/Sherlock/that weird guy from Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy or a skinny British Harcourt Fenton Mudd for all I know.
Theories will be accepted below. Thanks for playing.
The Gorn has had an almost 50 year career off of one appearance on the original Star Trek in the episode Arena and it keeps going strong with the new ad for [amazon_link id=”B0081B1O5A” target=”_blank” container=”” container_class=”” ]Star Trek: The Video Game[/amazon_link]. The Gorn play a huge role in the new game and have been revamped for the J.J. Abrams universe, but the classic still has his moments when he and William Shatner have another go round.
I think it is not too much of a stretch to call this one of the most brilliant ways to promote a product. I mean, I was already getting the game to review it for you fine folks, but if I wasn’t this commercial would have me driving to reserve it now. I know, I know, the ad is in no way telling of if the game will actually be any good, but come on. They got William Shatner to fight a fu**ing Gorn again.
As one Pam Poovey from Archer would say. Holy shit snacks.
This new international trailer for Star Trek Into Darkness involves a lot of balls and they happen to be going to the wall. There is a ton of new footage in this as well as so much more Benedict Cumberbatch creepy awesomeness.
Here are a few things to look and listen for:
-Cumberbatch is referred to as a “top agent” of Starfleet. The Khan factor is looking less and less likely.
-For some reason, with Cumberbatch’s attack on the Starfleet meeting, I am thinking more and more that Admiral Pike may bite it in the movie.
-Alice Eve in her underwear….yeah.
-Also may I add….Peter Weller!! Admiral Robocop is in full effect in this trailer.
Also, check out the new poster below. Star Trek Into Darkness releases on May 15th.
Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy has found its second member. Chris Pratt was cast a few weeks back as Peter Quill, the Star-Lord and now ex-WWE wrestler Dave Bautista is going to play Drax the Destroyer. Drax is a human that was given another body with special powers to take revenge on Thanos. With the movie’s budget I can be pretty sure that they will not just paint him green like an Orion slave girl from Star Trek.
One interesting thought I just had. How rather odd would it be that Dave Bautista could see his star in Hollywood rise to the same level that The Rock has been working on for ten years after just one Marvel movie?
