And by mistake, I meant that there was no Scotty or Chekov posters with the batch that came out yesterday. Simon Pegg is getting his best Carl Lewis going and Anton Yelchin looks like he just realized he is wearing a red shirt.
Wait…why is Chekov wearing a red shirt? Is he going to bite it in the sequel? Damn. Cold blooded.
Here is a new batch of character posters from the UK marketing of Star Trek Into Darkness. Kirk, Spock, Bones, Uhura, Carol Marcus, Sulu and Benedict Cumberbatch’s mysterious John Harrison are all featured.
Now if I could just ask one question? Where in the purple-blooded Klingon hell are Scotty and Chekov? I know Alice Eve is hot and all (by me pausing her “space undie” scene in the trailer can attest), but you are going to releases seven posters and not just go ahead and make it nine and add two of the main crew?
Want a reason to attend the midnight viewings of Iron Man 3 in IMAX besides the fact that….well, it’s Iron Man 3 in IMAX? Patrons will receive this impressive looking poster to commemorate the movie’s release drawn by comic artist Jock.
Iron Man 3 releases on May 3rd. Check and see if your local theater will be offering these posters here.
Here is the first poster for Thor: The Dark World that should take the bad taste out of your mouth from the Red Dawn remake and Chris Hemsworth’s god-awful hair in the Ron Howard racing movie Rush. You haven’t seen it yet? Here ya go.
I guess Hemsworth is playing the Tom Cruise/Cole Trickle part and the other guy (sorry, I didn’t have the time/want to look him up) is playing the Michael Rooker/Rowdy Burns part. I have gotten off on a Days of Thunder tangent….it happens. And yes, I realize it is an F1 movie.
So the Thor poster. It’s….pretty and full of lightning. He is fighting Dark Elves by the way. The poster is vague on that. By vague I mean mentioning nothing of it.
Thor: The Dark World releases on November 8, 2013.
Here are three new posters for Star Trek Into Darkness. The first shows the Enterprise falling to Earth and the ones below have Spock praying to an almighty volcano god and Uhura wishing she didn’t have to contractually come back and do two more Avatar movies.
A new trailer for the movie releases online Tuesday.
Are you ready? I know I’m ready. We are just over a month away from the release of Star Trek Into Darkness. A new poster has just been released featuring Benedict Cumberbatch as John Harrison/Khan/George Mitchell/Sherlock/that weird guy from Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy or a skinny British Harcourt Fenton Mudd for all I know.
Theories will be accepted below. Thanks for playing.
As one Pam Poovey from Archer would say. Holy shit snacks.
This new international trailer for Star Trek Into Darkness involves a lot of balls and they happen to be going to the wall. There is a ton of new footage in this as well as so much more Benedict Cumberbatch creepy awesomeness.
Here are a few things to look and listen for:
-Cumberbatch is referred to as a “top agent” of Starfleet. The Khan factor is looking less and less likely.
-For some reason, with Cumberbatch’s attack on the Starfleet meeting, I am thinking more and more that Admiral Pike may bite it in the movie.
-Alice Eve in her underwear….yeah.
-Also may I add….Peter Weller!! Admiral Robocop is in full effect in this trailer.
Also, check out the new poster below. Star Trek Into Darkness releases on May 15th.
Check out the Enterprise pulling a reverse Titanic in this new poster for Star Trek Into Darkness.
This looks to be from the beginning of the film where the Enterprise is hiding underwater so they remain unknown to a primitive culture keeping the Prime Directive intact and all that Star Trek jargon that you may not care about, but I do dammit.
Star Trek Into Darkness releases on May 17th.
In case you missed it over the weekend, here is the new trailer that shows a lot of action and new footage.
Here are the newest set of photos from The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. There are ones for Katniss, Haymitch, Cinna, Effie and Caesar and they have a washed out, classic look to them. Lionsgate has plenty of time to change all the posters to say Academy Award Winner Jennifer Lawrence.
I actually prefer this shot.
Check out the rest of the photos below
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire releases on November 22nd.
For those of you that have read at least up until A Storm of Swords, then you know just how important the next season (or two if they split the book) is to the Game of Thrones universe. And for those of you that simply watch the show I will not spoil anything sufficed to say, if the first season pissed you off….just get ready.
HBO has released a collection of character posters for the upcoming third season. Tyrion, Arya, Cercei and others are cast in a pale blue light in the posters. May I just ask HBO where are my posters for Brienne and Davos??
Season 3 of Game of Thrones premieres on March 31st.
