  • Bioshock Infinite ‘City In The Sky’ Trailer

    skylinebankfight_ONLINE1

I guess a more appropriate title for the video should have been Bioshock Infinite “Holy God I Am Actually Having Thoughts That This May Be Better Than The Original” Trailer.

Irrational Games continues to put the want in my heart for [amazon_link id=”B003O6E6NE” target=”_blank” container=”” container_class=”” ]Bioshock Infinite[/amazon_link]. My mind strays to [amazon_link id=”B007CM0K86″ target=”_blank” container=”” container_class=”” ]The Last of Us[/amazon_link] or the new consoles coming this fall but then here comes Bioshock Infinite every few weeks with a new trailer that slaps me in the face and says “don’t forget what you really want”.

  • Bioshock Infinite’s New Trailer Goes 70’s Documentary

    E32011GameplayColumbiaMail2

As someone who has watched his share of British produced 70’s documentaries (mostly of the Jack the Ripper variety) I can appreciate the style and tone of this look at Columbia’s creation and subsequent secession from the United States. It gives the odd story a creepy look and feel and just adds to the ambiance that was so prevalent in the first Bioshock.

  • Bioshock Infinite’s First Five Minutes

    83283-bioshock-infinite

“Booker, are you afraid of God?”

“No, but I’m afraid of you.”

And with those two lines Bioshock Infinite should be on every gamers radar.

Irrational has released a video showcasing the first five minutes of their upcoming Bioshock Infinite. It is not too spoilery so don’t worry too much but it does introduce us to lead character Booker DeWitt and what his task is on the floating city of Columbia. I love how the rainy conditions and lighthouse interior kind of mirror the beginning of the original Bioshock.

Bioshock Infinite releases on March 26, 2013.

  • Vote On Bioshock Infinite’s Alternate Cover

Don’t ever say that game developers refuse to listen to their fans. After Bioshock Infinite’s box art was met with less than enthusiastic results it seems Ken Levine has given fans a choice for an alternate cover. The cover will be reversible so you can choose between the original and whichever other choice is voted in by fans. There are six designs to choose from. Make your voice heard.

Go vote on your favorite design here.

  • Bioshock Infinite Delayed. Yes, Again.

Not For Too Long So Don’t Panic.

Stop me if you’ve heard this one before. [amazon_link id=”B003O6E6NE” target=”_blank” container=”” container_class=”” ]Bioshock Infinite[/amazon_link] has been delayed.

The game will see a one month delay and release on March 26, 2013, so it is leaving a crowded February for a crowded March. March 2013 will already see the releases of Tomb Raider, God of War: Ascension and Gears of War: Judgment.

Irrational Games Ken Levine made the announcement citing that they could ship the game in February but it wouldn’t hurt to take a few more weeks and do more bug testing to make sure the game is what the fans deserve.

“I knew I’d probably get beat up in the press a little bit about it, but at the end of the day, if it’s going to make a better game, we’ll do it.”

I personally have been waiting for three years on this game so another month will be no problem especially if it makes it better.
