  • Crimson Peak Trailer, You Know Me So Well

If I could show you the amount of excitement in my body right now it would melt your face like seeing the Ark of the Covenant.

    melty-toht

Remember when this was PG movie? Shit, no wonder we grew up like we did.

Anyway, Tom Hiddleston and Jessica Chastain in a Guillermo del Toro haunted mansion movie? Even Charlie Hunnam couldn’t ruin this with his Pacific Rim accent.

    Crimson Peak releases October 16th.

  • Star Wars: The Force Awakens Trailer Roundup

The teaser trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens has been out a few days now and it is the first 88 seconds of pleasure that is not followed by immense disappointment. Being the Thanksgiving holiday I did not get a chance to post it up here.

    Tadaaaa

This is old news though, right? Give the internet a few days and you will have plenty of varied ways to watch it.

    Lego

    The George Lucas Special Edition

    Internet, you are fun.

  • Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare Story Trailer Is The Keyser Soze Of Trailers

And by that I mean by the end I was saying it was surprising(ly good).

I have to hand it to Call of Duty, they have my interest again, which is saying something considering I haven’t played a story mode since Black Ops 1 or cared about a story in the game since Modern Warfare 1.

Advanced Warfare looks to be a big enough change to get me to want to play it. I have to be honest, Kevin Spacey is about 67% of the reason also, but the new trailer keeps my excitement level at “cool” which is way higher than what Call of Duty elicits from me.

Let’s hope Sledgehammer can do what no other COD developer can do; Make a story longer than 6 hours and worth the time.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare releases on November 4th.

  • How About A Release Date For The Witcher 3? And A New Trailer? Wonderful!

Let’s get E3 week started right with the new trailer for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

The new trailer shows off the vast landscape the you will traverse as Geralt, the white-haired, stone-faced badass we have all come to love. It looks to be a showcase title for your new consoles.

Get ready to marvel at the beauty and then throw your controller in anger when you die from not stringing attacks together properly on February 24, 2015.

  • Final Trailer For X-Men: Days Of Future Past Has All The Mutant Goodness

I give you the really real, final, last ever trailer for X-Men: Days of Future Past. The previous trailer went Al Gore “super cereal” and this one keeps the tone, but adds in a lot of punching, metal lifting and “Kashmir”.

Really, who can say no to that?

Let’s just put all of our cards on the table. I am excited as hell to see this. I am enjoying the trolls pissing and moaning about timeline differences between all of the X-Men movies. Have you read X-Men? It is basically one big orgy of alternate timelines, future babies and Sentinels. So, following the comics…the movie is looking pretty spot on.

X-Men: Days of Future Past releases on May 23rd.

  • Final Trailer For The Amazing Spider-Man 2

The final trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is here and it goes mighty big. There is a lot of new footage mixed with what we have seen over the past few trailers including longer looks at the three villains Electro, Green Goblin and Rhino.

I thought The Amazing Spider-Man did a good job of rebooting the series and is the second best Spidey film after Spider-Man 2. It still worries me having so many villains in a Spider-Man film (again). Here is hoping they can pull it off.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 releases on May 2nd.

  • Watch Dogs Release Date Announced With New Trailer

    Watch-Dogs-Aiden-Pearce

Ubisoft’s Watch Dogs will release on May 27th worldwide after a six-month delay.

The game was delayed only weeks before its November 2013 release date to give the team more time to polish the game and, one would assume, work out any last minute technical issues.

This is sooner than I was expecting for Watch Dogs to hit shelves. When it was delayed so soon to release last year, I thought there may be some serious issues with the game. I wasn’t expecting a release until at least July. Looks like Mario Kart has some competition in May.

A new trailer has been released with the release news. Check it out.

For some reason it gives me a futuristic Sleeping Dogs more than Assassin’s Creed.

  • New Trailer For Godzilla Adds 94% More Bryan Cranston. Thank You

Rule #1 in trailers for movies that star Bryan Cranston: Let Bryan Cranston narrate that bitch!

So much good in this trailer including Cranston and Ken Watanabe, the nuclear ties to the creature and that goosebump-inducing roar.

I was already excited about the return of Godzilla to the big screen but this newest trailer has officially put it on countdown mode for me.

    Godzilla releases on May 16th.

  • The First Guardians Of The Galaxy Trailer Is Here!

    http://youtu.be/pTZ2Tp9yXyM

Marvel finally took the wraps off of James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy with the first official trailer that premiered on The Jimmy Kimmel Show.

We get introduced to the entire team which include Peter Quill (Chris Pratt), Drax the Destroyer (Dave Bautista), Gamora (Zoe Saldana), Rocket Raccoon (voiced by Bradley Cooper) and Groot (voiced by Vin Diesel).

The feel of the trailer is like no other Marvel movie and I mean that in the best way possible. It is amazing watching Chris Pratt for so long on Parks and Rec then seeing him like this, but he fits the role so well with the snarky attitude.

Guardians of the Galaxy is Marvel’s biggest gamble yet. If you are unaware of the comic, did this trailer give you a reason to be excited? If not, don’t worry. There is still plenty of time to change that.

Guardians of the Galaxy releases on August 1st.

    south-park-stick-truth-2

Is it weird that if you miss turn-based RPG games that your best bet may be South Park: The Stick of Truth?

See what awaits you with 13 minutes of gameplay that shows how your character is introduced to Cartman, Butters and others. You also get to see how the game’s controls work with a battle wheel that is used for attacks and specials. It feels like the most fu**ed up game of Mario RPG ever.

South Park: The Stick of Truth will (finally) release on March 4th.
