    The Season Pass for WWE 2K15 will feature three new stories for the 2K Showcase and a host of new wrestlers and moves. Each will be individually priced or you can get the Season Pass for $24.99. Buying the Season Pass will also let you play as Paige, which is worth $25 for people like me. Sad people like me.

  • WWE 2K15 Season Pass Announced

    WWE 2K15 will have a Season Pass as is standard for most games. This year’s title focuses on the greatest rivalries in wrestling and 2K wants to push that idea home by making you pay for more of them.

    Purchasing the $25 Season Pass will give you access to three more rivalries in 2K Showcase over three DLC releases. The game launches with two rivalries (HHH vs. HBK and CM Punk vs. John Cena). No news was given on who the DLC packs would involve or when they would release.

    $25 is a lot to ask for a Season Pass that just expands the story mode that should have been in the game to begin with. No mention was made if the DLC would involve new wrestlers not on the roster.

    Who is going to pick up the Season Pass for WWE 2K15? I may not…

  • WWE 2K14 Announces Season Pass. Includes NWO, More Legends And Faaaandaaangooo

    WWE 2K14 will offer a Season Pass for $19.99 that is broken up into separate DLC packs like last year’s game. Keeping with the 30 Years of WrestleMania celebration, you will get more legends including Bruno Sammartino, Dusty Rhodes and Ravishing Rick Rude. If you are wanting to relive the glory days of the Monday Night Wars there is the NWO pack which gives you the likes of an NWO-themed Macho Man, Curt Hennig and Syxx.

  • Assassin’s Creed IV Has A Season Pass, Announces Freedom Cry DLC

    To the surprise of no one, Ubisoft has announced a Season Pass for [amazon_link id=”B00BMFIXKQ” target=”_blank” container=”” container_class=”” ]Assassin’s Creed IV[/amazon_link] which will include the single player DLC, Freedom Cry. You will play the part of Adewale, Edward Kenway’s friend on the Jackdaw as he is caught in the slaving community. Never let it be said that the franchise is not afraid to take on sensitive subjects.

    The $20 Season Pass will also include new missions, skins, weapons, the Kraken ship pack and more characters in multiplayer. It will save 20% over buying it all separately.

    Assassin’s Creed IV releases on October 29th.

  • The Last Of Us Multiplayer Maps Coming In October, Single Player DLC May Be 2014

    The Last of Us has been out for a few months and people that bought the $20 Season Pass have yet to see one part of the three promised DLC packs, until now. October 15th will see the release of The Abandoned Territories Map Pack with four new maps including: Suburbs, Bus Depot, Hometown and Bookstore.

    Naughty Dog has not forgotten about the single player DLC that was announced as part of the Season Pass. The good news is that they are hard at work on it, the bad news is that it will not be ready until December or possibly early 2014. The main reason I bought the Season Pass was for this and while the wait may be long, I have faith that Naughty Dog will make it worth it.

    The third piece of the Season Pass will another multiplayer pack and will not be available until the first half of next year.

    WB Games has announced a Season Pass for Batman: Arkham Origins. It will run $19.99 with the contents bought separately costing $30. Let’s get the rundown.

    -Gotham by Gaslight Skin (exclusive to Season Pass)

    -Brightest Day Skin (exclusive to Season Pass)

    -Initiation (special challenge maps as Bruce Wayne)

    -New story content

    No details were given on the new story content, but if it is as good as Harley’s Revenge for Batman: Arkham City then it will be well worth the $20.

  • The Last Of Us Season Pass Announced

    We here at Nerd Rating are on official countdown to The Last of Us. 16 days until Naughty Dog’s much anticipated post-apocalyptic story is finally in our hands.

    Today the studio announced that the game will be getting a Season Pass that will have three DLC packs, two for multiplayer and one for single player. Exactly how the DLC will fit into the single player story is very much a mystery.

    The Last of Us Season Pass will cost $20 and will also give buyers character boosts like increased crafting and healing as well as weapon upgrades and a 90 minute documentary titled “Grounded”.

    Consider this bought.

  • The First DLC Character For Injustice Is Lobo

    Everyone’s favorite bounty hunter is joining NetherRealm’s [amazon_link id=”B0088I7L76″ target=”_blank” container=”” container_class=”” ]Injustice: Gods Among Us[/amazon_link]. Lobo will be coming soon to take the beating to every other bastich in the game.

    Lobo is the first of four DLC fighters planned for the game. You can download each character separately or purchase the Season Pass for $14.99 which is basically a “Buy 3, Get 1 Free”.

    We will keep updating you on the rest of the DLC as we find out.

  • Gears Of War: Judgment Season Pass Available For $19.99

    When [amazon_link id=”B002I0H79C” target=”_blank” container=”” container_class=”” ]Gears of War 3[/amazon_link] launched it offered up a Season Pass for $29.99 that included four DLC packs that mixed single and multiplayer content. Now Gears of War: Judgment will be receiving a season pass of its own, but with no single player DLC.

    The “VIP Season Pass’ will cost $19.99 and will give the buyer a 30% discount over buying the content separately. Here is what you will get when you purchase the Season Pass:

    -Permanent double-XP for all multiplayer

    -Six new multiplayer maps

    -Two new game modes

    -Five weapon skins

    -Four armor skins

    -Early access to multiplayer maps and more

    Gears of War: Judgment releases on March 19th.

     

  • Bioshock Infinite Gets A Season Pass

    Irrational Games has announced that Bioshock Infinite will be joining the the growing groups of games to offer a season pass for its DLC.

    The pass will cost $19.99 and include three DLC packs. The cost of the packs separately are $30. The exact nature of the DLC is not know at this time, but if you do purchase the season pass you will receive the “Early Bird Special” that lets you unlock four new exclusives including: pistol damage upgrade, machine gun damage upgrade, gold skins for pistol and machine gun as well as five Infusion bottles.
