Here Is The First Poster For Captain America: The Winter Soldier
Photo courtesy ign.com Now this is a pleasant surprise that has made my day. The first teaser poster for Captain America: The Winter Solider has been released by Marvel just before San Diego Comic-Con. Cap’s shield has seen better days with the paint peeling off and looking distressed.
Marvel will have a big presence at the SDCC next week with Captain America, Thor: The Dark World, Guardians of the Galaxy and maybe more secrets revealed.
Captain America: The Winter Soldier releases on April 4, 2014.

Bilbo Is Front And Center In First Poster For The Hobbit: The Desolation Of Smaug
Photo courtesy collider.com Warner Bros. has released the first poster for The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug. The second film in Peter Jackson’s trilogy will also have a teaser trailer released this week to play in front of Man of Steel. This will be the film that shows us how Jackson will stretch one book into three movies. I liked The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey and was forgiving of the changes. Now we will see how much more will change with two movies and six hours of film left.
The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug releases on December 13th.

Are You A Man? Here Is A New Pacific Rim Poster
Photo courtesy geektyrant.com Guillermo Del Toro’s Pacific Rim is one of the best looking movies of the summer and if people ask me to describe the movie to them I will simply say this:
Imagine the creatures are Decepticons and it is how Transformers should have been.
A new poster has just been released and I would assume it will be the first in a series of single robot posters. This first one features one called Coyote Tango who is set in Japan. Just remember to say domo arigato, Mr. Roboto when he saves your ass.

New Poster For The Wolverine
Photo courtesy geektyrant.com With Iron Man 3 and Man of Steel being at the forefront of the superhero movie scene this summer, The Wolverine is getting a bit lost. Now I can understand how excitement can be tempered considering how X-Men Origins: Wolverine was a massive dump on the chest of fans, but at least the source material for this followup is some of the best work in the character’s history using Chris Claremont’s 1982 limited series as its base.
The Wolverine releases on July 26th.

First Poster For The Hangover Part III
Photo courtesy collider.com One of the biggest summer movies has been curiously absent from all the poster and trailer hooplah and that is The Hangover Part III. We have seen trailers for Iron Man, Fast & Furious 6 and Man of Steel, but not so much as a peep from the third film involving The Wolfpack.
Until today.
Warner Bros. has released the first poster which shows Zack Galifianakis as Alan and Ken Jeongs as Mr. Chow in a tense stare down with a burning Las Vegas in the background.
I like this. It is playing up the big summer movie spectacle of explosions and flying debris with odd lighting that is the staple of action movies today. Hopefully the third time will be the charm. While I laughed at the second movie, a second watching proved just how much of a retread of the first flick it was.
The Hangover Part III opens on Memorial Day where it will take on The Rock and Vin Diesel in Fast & Furious 6.

New Iron Man 3 Poster

Apparently Disney has taken the patented “Harry Potter poster route” and plans to release twenty-three separate posters before the movie hits. This one has Tony and Pepper in an embrace. Tony better be careful because holding Pepper that close might become embarrassing.

Pepper Potts Looks Somber In New Iron Man 3 Poster
Photo courtesy ComingSoon.net Hell wouldn’t you if you were holding your boyfriend’s metal shell of a head? Gwyneth Paltrow joins Don Cheadle, Guy Perace and Ben Kingsley to get the single poster treatment for Marvel’s threequel.
Marvel can keep preaching that Iron Man 3 is not going to be a darker movie, but the trailers, posters and director (Shane Black) are saying otherwise. Now I am not saying this will go into Dark Knight “pit of despair” stuff, but it certainly looker to be much bleaker than the first two films.

New Iron Man 3 Poster
Photo courtesy of flicksandpicks Paramount and Marvel have released a new poster for Iron Man 3. In it our dear friend Tony Stark appears to be free falling to Earth as his suit breaks apart.
Director Shane Black seems to be taking Tony down a dark road in this third installment of the franchise. With the tone of the trailer released late last year and the introduction of Ben Kingsley as The Mandarin, it looks like Tony’s worst days are ahead of him.
Iron Man 3 will have a Super Bowl ad that will run during the big game this weekend and we will have it here for you on Monday.
