Mortal Kombat Legacy was a big success in 2011 for director Kevin Tancharoen. Big enough that Warner Bros. not only gave him a chance for a second season of the show but also the directing job for a new Mortal Kombat feature film. Now Season 2 of Mortal Kombat Legacy is almost upon us and here is the first trailer.

A lot of new additions have been made for Season 2 both in characters and actors. Ermac, Stryker and more will be joining the series and some roles will be filled by new actors most notably Johnny Rico himself Casper Van Dien as Johnny Cage and Cary Hiroyuki Tagawa reprising his role of Shang Tsung from the first Mortal Kombat film.

There will be ten episodes of Mortal Kombat Legacy Season 2 and each will average around eight minutes in length. The series can be seen on Machinima.com.

  • Merry Christmas From Machinima. You’re Fired.

Today was not a good day to be an employee at website Machinima who laid off almost 10% of their staff just two weeks before Christmas. The layoffs affected the editorial staff. Machinima employees were given no forward notice of their terminations.

To rub salt in the wound, Machinima released an official statement about the matter.

“Today Machinima underwent a reorganization to address its global growth, and this process unfortunately resulted in layoffs. Less than 10% of Machinima’s workforce was effected. Also as part of the restructure Machinima is hiring across key divisions including Sales, Marketing and Product.”

So for all the people that created and edited content for the website take heart, they are hiring new employees to help sell your content.

  • Watch Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn In Its Entirety

All Five Episodes Just In Time For Halo 4.

So if you have been hiding away somewhere secluded you may have missed the news that Halo 4 is releasing this Tuesday, November 6th. The reviews have been in the ” great” to “near-perfect” range with some calling it the greatest of all the Halo games.

To celebrate the release, 343 Industries have been releasing a five part live-action Halo series on Machinima and Halo Waypoint called Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn. The series focuses on Thomas Lasky and a group of cadets in training just before the Covenant attack. The series is told in flashbacks from Lasky, who has since become the commander of the UNSC Infinity, as he looks back at how Master Chief inspired him to become the soldier he is.

I am sure Halo fans have already watched the series but it is also a good entry point for people wanting to get a little more familiar with the Halo universe. It is very well made and gets better and better with each episode. Take some time and check out the entire series below.
