The Amazing Spider-Man 2

If you love Paul Giamatti, don’t expect too much of him in the next Spider-Man releasing next month. Director Marc Webb has said that Rhino will only appear in the sequel for four minutes. His character is in the planned third movie also so just watch Sideways a lot until it comes out in 2016.

Constantine

Will Constantine be a smoker on his new show? Writer and producer, David S. Goyer, gives an “answer”:

“That’s a tricky one on network TV. We’re negotiating right now. He will have his signature trench coat and skinny tie. I would say that the show clings more closely to the source material than the film did. Even though the film was interesting.”

Tricky my ass. That is one of the character’s main crutches. That would be like the CW pitching Arrow and saying he only shoots Nerf arrows at enemies because real ones hurt.

The Talking Dead

CM Punk will be making his first public appearance since leaving WWE in January on this Sunday’s The Talking Dead. He was announced using his real name, Phil Brooks, on last night’s episode.

Gone Home

The popular PC game will be making its way to consoles in 2014. This excites me almost as much as Titanfall tomorrow. That is saying something.

Titanfall

The game will run at 792p resolution when it launches tomorrow. If this concerns you, go crawl in a hole and stay there. Absolutely zero fucks should be given if the game is fun.

Annie

Here is the trailer for Annie starring Jamie Foxx, Cameron Diaz and Rose Byrne. Be warned: once you watch it, you can’t unwatch it. Personally I am waiting on the remake of Pootie Tang with Robert Downey, Jr., Jonah Hill and Zachary Quinto.

Captain America: The Winter Solider

Game of Thrones

There is a rap album based on Game of Thrones. Not just that, but it is funded by HBO. I can’t make this shit up. It features tracks by Big Boi, Common and others. The title? Catch The Throne.

LEGO The Hobbit

The newest trailer for LEGO The Hobbit is in the style of Ocean’s 11 and you will be a better person for watching it.

Mario Kart 8

Nintendo will be releasing a limited edition of the Wii U game with a blue Koopa shell statue. It will look perfect next to my other shelves of limited edition game items I get for some reason.

Movies

The Avengers: Age of Ultron

Seems Scarlett Johansson went and got herself knocked up. She is due this summer and a growing belly does not exactly work with her costume in the Avengers sequel. To make sure they get her scenes in, she will begin filming her parts April 5th and finish as quick as possible so it will not affect the rest of the movie and Ryan Reynolds can cry himself to sleep knowing he is not the father.

Frozen

As popular as the song “Let It Go” is from Frozen, there are some times you just don’t sing the Oscar-winning tune. Here are some examples. Be prepared to laugh (or cry).

Gotham

The series has cast its young Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle. David Mazouz will play Bruce and Camren Bicondova is Selina.

Sony has announced that the PS4 has sold over 6 million consoles since its launch last November. With sales continuing to be strong, could Sony get to 20 million by year’s end?

Movies

Ghostbusters 3

Harold Ramis passed on Monday and it has been announced that the script for Ghostbusters 3 will be “tweaked”. Fuck this movie. It has been two days since Ramis passed. Like we need a statement on the Ghostbusters 3 script? Dick holes.

Entourage

A release date has been set for the movie. The gang will be back to hug it out on June 12, 2015.

The Stand

Josh Boone is close to signing on to write and direct the adaptation of the Stephen King classic. It will be a “single R-rated movie that will be faithful to the book”. If this is true, the movie will run 4 hours 47 minutes.

Godzilla

Empire has the first full-on frontal shot of the giant lizard on their new cover. It looks like Godzilla. This movie looks to mind wipe the terror of 1998 and Come With Me.

TV

Fargo

Here is a trailer for the FX show that stars Martin Freeman, Colin Hanks and Oliver Platt. It is a retelling of the Coen Bros. 1996 movie which is one of the best films ever made. Be excited.

Daredevil

Marvel is receiving a tax incentive to film all four of their Netflix shows (Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist) in New York City. Hell’s Kitchen, here we come.

Being Human

SyFy has cancelled the show with Jimmy Olsen and Starkiller. People are upset. I never watched it but we should know by now SyFy loves cancelling shows that people like.

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

Required viewing for today is Paul Rudd taking on Jimmy Fallon in a lip-synching contest. Is there anything Ant-Man can not do?

Game of Thrones

A new paragraph has been made available from George R.R. Martin’s next book in his Song of Ice and Fire series, The Winds of Winter. It involves Tyrion Lannister. No, there is still no hint of a release date. It has only been three years since A Dance with Dragons so don’t expect it too soon.

Somewhere off in the far distance, a dying man was screaming for his mother. “To horse!” a man was yelling in Ghiscari, in the next camp to the north of the Second Sons. “To horse! To horse!” High and shrill, his voice carried a long way in the morning air, far beyond his own encampment. Tyrion knew just enough Ghiscari to understand the words, but the fear in his voice would have been plain in any tongue. I know how he feels.

Wii U

The Wii U has passed the 360 in lifetime sales in Japan. Is this something to be proud of? The 360 has only sold 1.6 million units…in eight years.

LEGO The Hobbit

The game will be released on April 8th. It covers the first two movies because…because. Hell if I know.

Fable III

Peter Molyneux says that Fable III was a “trainwreck”. That probably is why I completed Fable II four times and barely finished III once.

Mario Kart

They are making actual Mario Karts that kids can drive, further proving that your childhood sucked while your kids get all the good stuff.

18 Character Posters For Game Of Thrones Season 4

Now HBO is just toying with fans leading into Season 4 of Game of Thrones.

After the infamous Red Wedding, they are seizing the opportunity to remind everyone that anyone can die with these character posters that have “valar morghulis” on them which translates to “all men must die” in High Valyrian.

If you have not read the books then I can only sit back, as I did last season, and wait on your reactions. The statement on the posters is apropos for more than one of these characters.

HBO is giving Game of Thrones fans a bit of a taste test with this 15 minute preview for Season 4 that includes new footage and interviews with the show’s stars.

Ladies, come for the Tyrion, stay for the fact that Jaime Lannister is back to his well-groomed self. Guys, ummm swords, blood, sex and Tyrion.

More than that, though, you should definitely watch these three episodes: Black Friday, A Song of Ass and Fire, Titties and Dragons. The episodes are phenomenal, but are best experienced if you’re already familiar with Game of Thrones. They’re on Hulu Plus, and available for &*#^ing free on www.southparkstudios.com, along with the nearly every episode of the show.

I made it to the seven minute mark myself. I was subconciously grinding my teeth by that point.

A Lannister Always Watches The Olympics. The BBC Olympics Ad Reigns From On High

OK NBC, what you got? No, no we have heard John Williams for about 20 years. You got to come harder than that if you are going to beat the BBC’s commercial for the Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia. They have Tywin Lannister himself, Charles Dance, narrating the proceedings as athletes make their way up a frozen mountain.

Well played.

The 2014 Winter Olympics begin on February 7th.

First Trailer Game Of Thrones Season 4

So much great stuff awaits us in the fourth season of Game of Thrones. What is left from the latter half of Storm of Swords will make up the season and it is some of the best material in the entire series. We get some great looks at the Battle of Castle Black, Tyrion’s trial, and Lord Oberyn’s battle with Gregor Clegane.

Buckle up, it’s going to be a bumpy, sexy, bloody ride.

Game Of Thrones Season 4 Premiere Date Set

The picture says it all I suppose.

Are you still reeling from the events of Season 3? Well get ready because that was only half the fun from the third novel, A Storm of Swords. There is way more sex, death, sex, death, betrayal, death and sex to come. Including big deaths for a couple of main characters.

Why would I say something like that? Because every year when Game of Thrones fever comes back I relish making people who have only watched the show squirm. Sorry. If you want to change that, read a book…or go to Wikipedia.
