  • Final Trailer For The Amazing Spider-Man 2

    The final trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is here and it goes mighty big. There is a lot of new footage mixed with what we have seen over the past few trailers including longer looks at the three villains Electro, Green Goblin and Rhino.

    I thought The Amazing Spider-Man did a good job of rebooting the series and is the second best Spidey film after Spider-Man 2. It still worries me having so many villains in a Spider-Man film (again). Here is hoping they can pull it off.

  • Two New Posters For The Amazing Spider-Man 2

    Two new international posters have just been released for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 featuring Andrew Garfield’s Spidey and Jamie Foxx’s Electro.

    Remember when you would get two movie posters before a big summer release waaaay back when in the 90’s? The teaser poster six or seven months before release and a final one a couple of months later. It is pretty much Hollywood law to release at least 37 posters per movie over a two year stretch. Thanks Harry Potter.

  • First Trailer For The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Swings In

    Here it is true believers. The first trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 shows off the collection of villains that Peter Parker will be facing including Electro, Rhino and a Harry Osborn version of Green Goblin. I said the other day that I was worried about the film bringing on so many villains at once but the trailer has me excited to see what they can do with it especially if it leads to the Sinister Six later on.

    Spidey has the second best rogues gallery besides Batman and a lot of them have not had film time. Looks like director Marc Webb is changing all of that. I also like that this Spider-Man is so close to the Ultimate version in style and villains.

    Also, I think Dane DeHaan is going to knock it out of the park as Harry Osborn.

  • The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Comic-Con Teaser “I Am Electro”

    Here is a short teaser for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 shown at Comic-Con to get fans ready for the panel for the film which will be in Hall H on Friday at 4PM PST.

    We have seen plenty of images of Foxx’s Electro, but what I am waiting on is the full reveal of Paul Giamatti’s Rhino.

  • New EW Cover Showcases Spider-Man vs. Electro

    Entertainment Weekly’s new issue this week is their yearly Comic-Con issue and the cover gives us our first look at the fully-powered Electro played by Jamie Foxx. There have been photos of Foxx on set in make-up, but this is the first look we are getting with him all CGI’d up.

    I like the look so far except for the outfit which may be a little much, but this is a comic movie so I can get past it. Now we just need to see what Paul Giamatti will look like when he is full-on Rhino.

  • First Look At Jamie Foxx As Electro

    The first pictures have leaked online of Jamie Foxx as Electro in The Amazing Spider-Man 2. For those of you worried about him having to wear a gold and yellow outfit with fake lighting bolts on his mask you can breathe a sigh of relief.

    I like the look especially when lit up by the lights on the hoodie and yet I feel we have now only seen the beginning of Jamie Foxx/blue balls jokes. I will not be the ones to start them. That is not to say I will not join in when they get started though.

  • Paul Giamatti In Talks To Play Rhino In The Amazing Spider-Man 2…..Wait What?

    So The Amazing Spider-Man 2 may have just made up for getting Jamie Foxx to play Electro. The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Oscar nominee and all-around short, round ball of awesomeness Paul Giamatti is in talks to play the role of Rhino in the sequel to last year’s reboot The Amazing Spider-Man. Can you say Sinister Six??

    Rhino has been a part of Spider-Man’s rogue gallery since 1966. His origin story is that of Russian thug that wore a suit resembling a rhino that gave him super strength. So don’t worry too much Jamie Foxx, Paul Giamatti is hopefully on the way to class this joint up.
