  • Young And Old Collide In First X-Men: Days Of Future’s Past Posters

Both versions of Professor X and Magneto are featured in the first posters for Bryan Singer’s X-Men: Days of Future’s Past. The all-star X-Men movie is based off of Chris Claremont’s classic story and will include almost every X-Men member from the four previous movies (no, I am not counting X-Men Origins: Wolverine).

X-Men: Days of Future’s Past releases on May 23, 2014.

  • Ellen Page, Anna Paquin And Shawn Ashmore Are X-Men Again

So can we now officially say that Bryan Singer is making the biggest X-Men movie ever? The director already has the returning cast of X-Men: First Class, including Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy and Jennifer Lawrence as well as Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellan and Hugh Jackman reprising their roles. Singer has just announced that three more X-movie alumni are returning for X-Men: Days of Future’s Past.

Ellen Page, Anna Paquin and Shawn Ashmore will be donning their suits once again as Kitty Pryde, Rogue and Iceman. All we need now is for Tyler Mane and Liev Schreiber to have a celebrity deathmatch to see which one gets to play Sabretooth and let’s not forget that Vinnie Jones is only a phone call away to play Juggernaut again.

X-Men: Days of Future’s Past is based on Chris Claremont’s legendary 1981 story where the X-Men have to stop a future event from happening that causes mutants to be kept prisoners in a dystopian future. It is set for release on July 18, 2014.

  • X-Men: First Class Sequel Welcomes Old Friends

Director Bryan Singer tweeted some welcome news yesterday and confirmed that Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellan were both returning to the X-Men franchise as Professor X and Magneto respectively.

While many thought this would happen with the newest X-Men flick being based on Chris Claremont’s classic Days of Future’s Past story it is good to see the director of the first two X-Men flicks get part of the band back together for the movie.

So not only do you have James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender returning but now Stewart and McKellan as well as Singer back directing. How can this possibly not be awesome?
