  • Star Wars: Battlefront To Be “Aligned With” Episode VII

    During an EA earnings call, company CFO Blake Jorgensen confirmed that Star Wars: Battlefront will hit store shelves before the end of the year and be aligned with Episode VII.

    This can only mean one thing by the rules of video gaming: it will be broke as shit.

    Not wishing bad luck on the game in any way. I want to play Battlefront as much as you. Until I have the game in my console and I am killing Ewoks there will always be doubts. DICE has to live down Battlefield 4 which was having issues a year (!) after release. Now that they are on a timetable the heat is on. Will they deliver?

     

  • Star Wars: Battlefront To Release In 2015?

    One of EA’s most anticipated games is easily Star Wars: Battlefront which is being taken over by Battlefield developers DICE. A teaser was shown at E3 and nerd joy was renewed knowing that we will one day again be able to kill as many Ewoks as we want in team-based combat.

    During the EA annual stockholders meeting, CFO Blake Jorgensen gave a possible release window for the revival of the title. He said the title “most likely come out around the same time that the Star Wars movies start to come out, probably in the summer of ’15.”

    I’ll leave this handy video here to remind everyone of how much time was lost by me and others to the Battlefront series.

  • DICE Developing New Star Wars: Battlefront Title

    The hours I spent killing Ewoks and suicide flying fighters into starships in Star Wars: Battlefront I & II are easily some of the best times I had as a gamer. So it was with enormous raindrop like tears and arms wide open that I watched the teaser trailer for the new Star Wars: Battlefront like a long, lost love had returned home and things were going to be alright.

    Am I over selling this a bit? God I wish I was because it would be less embarrassing.
