Warner Bros. Interactive announced today that the mobile version of NetherRealm’s [amazon_link id=”B0088I7L76″ target=”_blank” container=”” container_class=”” ]Injustice: Gods Among Us[/amazon_link] is up and ready to download on iOS for your iPhone or iPad through the Apple App Store. The game is free-to-play and features a collectible card game to go along with the touch-based combat. If you buy the console version of the game, both will link up for extra content.

I will sit here and wait on the game’s console release since I have a Windows Phone and can’t play. (insert Windows Phone joke here).

Injustice: Gods Among Us releases on April 16th.

  • WWE To Launch Xbox App To Watch Wrestlemania 29

The WWE is continuing their slow crawl into every avenue of digital media with the release of a WWE app for Xbox 360. Fans will be able to watch this Sunday’s Wrestlemania 29 and every monthly PPV after on the app from your Xbox 360. You will still pay the normal PPV cost of the event, but it is an alternative for people who are without cable.

It is a shame that they are launching the app in front of what may be the weakest built Wrestlemania in years. It is a yearly event for me, but this year has gone so vanilla and by the books that it feels like we may be in for the weakest entry since 2000.

  • Netflix And Hulu Plus Up And Running On Wii U

Delay Not As Long As Expected.

Well that certainly didn’t take long.

It was announced by Nintendo last week that many of their streaming apps would be delayed and the way it was worded one would think that you would be waiting a few weeks before you could start watching your content on Netflix or Hulu Plus.

It seems someone got on the ball and fixed whatever problems the apps were having quickly because as of right now both services are up and ready for people to watch shows or movies on their television or Gamepad.

No word yet on when the Nintendo TVii feature will be ready but Nintendo has said sometime in December.

  • Nintendo Delays Major Wii U Apps

    Nintendo TVii Delayed Until December.

Everything seemed to be going so well Nintendo….what happened??

Just a few days before the Wii U is set to launch, Nintendo has announced that their on demand services (Netflix, Hulu Plus, Amazon Instant Video and YouTube) will be delayed. They are hoping to have the services up in a few weeks. Nintendo TVii has also been delayed and will not be released until December.

You will still need to update your system online on day one to get your e-shop, backwards compatibility and online play up and running.

No system launch is perfect but this was a huge component of Nintendo’s selling point of the Wii U. Let’s hope they can get everything worked out quickly.

  • He-Man: The Most Powerful Game In The Universe Coming To iOS

Touch Teela All You Want To.

Did you grow up watching He-Man as a child? Do you have an iPhone? Then get ready to be able to control the most powerful man in the universe in a side-scrolling beat em up coming soon on the Apple app store.

Here is the trailer for the new game which shows all sorts of Eternia goodness including fighting as He-Man, Man-At-Arms and more as they fight the good fight against Skeletor, Hordak and all of their minions. The only gripe I have is that I want the voice to be Dolph Lundgren and every time you kill a boss he says, “Good journey”.
