Do you remember when Resident Evil was good? You know, besides the whole “master of unlocking” thing. The dog jumping through the window, the first time Nemesis chased you. Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami wants to take you back to that with The Evil Within. This new video shows just how dark and disturbing the environment will be including a chainsaw wielding crazy and blood by the gallons.

The Last of Us has been out for a few months and people that bought the $20 Season Pass have yet to see one part of the three promised DLC packs, until now. October 15th will see the release of The Abandoned Territories Map Pack with four new maps including: Suburbs, Bus Depot, Hometown and Bookstore.
Naughty Dog has not forgotten about the single player DLC that was announced as part of the Season Pass. The good news is that they are hard at work on it, the bad news is that it will not be ready until December or possibly early 2014. The main reason I bought the Season Pass was for this and while the wait may be long, I have faith that Naughty Dog will make it worth it.
The third piece of the Season Pass will another multiplayer pack and will not be available until the first half of next year.
How about another video for Assassin’s Creed IV? It’s almost like Ubisoft wants to remind you that the game is coming out soon. This time you get to know the other pirates that will interact with the game’s protagonist Edward Kenway including the legendary Blackbeard. There is no new gameplay footage, but it is still a good intro to the variety of character that will be in the game.

This video is just another reason to love everything and everyone involved with the making of The Last of Us. Creative director Neil Druckmann shows some behind the scene footage of an integral part of the final part of the game. The ending has since changed from what is shown, but what is truly remarkable is what happens during the performance from Troy Baker who plays Joel and Merle Dandridge who plays Marlene.
I promise you can not guess what it is and after you will want to watch it again.

At last we now know when we can help Cartman, Kyle, Stan, Kenny, Butters, Timmy, Jimmy and the rest of the South Park crew find The Stick of Truth. Ubisoft has announced that the game developed by Obsidian will be released on December 10th.
Also a collector’s edition has been shown which will cost $79.99 and come with a 6″ Cartman grand wizard figure, a “hand drawn” map of the South Park Kingdom and the Ultimate Fellowship Pack which has four costumes with special abilities.

Today is a good day to be a Metal Gear fan. We have three new videos for you to watch from Metal Gear Solid V. First is the intro to the Ground Zeroes portion of the game which now has full English translation featuring Kiefer Sutherland as the voice of Solid Snake. If you do not get chills when Snake makes his way up the cliffside then this post is not for you.
The second video is the demo that was shown at TGS with Hideo Kojima only now it is without the narration by Kojima. The third video is a special mission specially made for TGS that features Snake doing his stealth act in daylight.
