Bioshock Infinite released back in March and it has been a good wait for the promised single-player DLC, Burial at Sea. We now know that Episode 1 of Booker and Elizabeth’s Excellent Rapture Adventure will release on November 12th. Episode 1 will have you taking over Booker the night before Rapture’s fall while Episode 2 will let you control Elizabeth in the underwater city.
Burial at Sea will cost $14.99 and is free for Season Pass owners.
On a side note: Really? Three days before the PS4 launch? Now I have to use what I lack the most: time management.
With tomorrow’s big release of [amazon_link id=”B00C7103DO” target=”_blank” container=”” container_class=”” ]Batman: Arkham Origins[/amazon_link] lets not forget that there is a handheld version coming to 3DS and Vita. Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate is a 2.5D game in the make of Metroid.
This ten minute video has a good look at the gameplay and how your bat-skills will be implemented on the small screen.

One thing you can say about Ubisoft is that you damn sure know when their new big game is coming out. Assassin’s Creed IV hits next week and the video releases are on overload. Here are two new ones to get you more excited about your pirate adventure.
The first is a TV commercial and gives stories to each of Edward Kenway’s tattoos. Hint: most involve violence. The second is an official launch trailer with a lot of pretty looking locales and swashbuckling.
Batman can’t wait on Santa Claus this Christmas. Black Mask is too busy trying to end The Dark Knight’s career before it really starts by hiring the world’s greatest assassins to take him out. The new trailer shows the dangers Batman will face in the prequel to 2009’s Arkham Asylum and 2011’s Arkham City.

DC and Marvel go head to head this week with the release of Batman: Arkham Origins and Lego Marvel Super Heroes. Deus Ex returns in a director’s cut and the music video game genre is not completely dead with Rocksmith 2014.
Next week is when it gets big with Assassin’s Creed IV, Battlefield 4 and WWE 2K14. The holiday games have begun.

The [amazon_link id=”B00DE2W5XG” target=”_blank” container=”” container_class=”” ]Playstation 4[/amazon_link] is less than a month from launch and Sony is hanging its hat on Killzone: Shadow Fall to really show gamers what the new console is capable of. A new trailer has been released that shows the conflict taking place on Vekta as the remaining Helghast try to occupy the planet with the ISA. I think we all know it is downhill from there.
Killzone was Sony’s first try at a “Halo killer” and it did not come near that. Killzone 2 was the first game on PS3 that showed what the next-gen (at the time) was capable of and Killzone 3, while not as good as 2, brought an end to the conflict. Now with Killzone: Shadow Fall, we move forward 30 years for the next part of Vekta’s history.

Everything about Titanfall is big. The game itself has had nothing but big talk and big impressions since its announcement at E3. You get to control big mechs called titans and now the collector’s edition is going big also.
Developer Respawn has announced that [amazon_link id=”B00DB9JYFY” target=”_blank” container=”” container_class=”” ]Titanfall[/amazon_link] will release on March 11, 2014 on Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.
The collector’s edition will feature an 18″ statue of a massive titan on the battlefield with LED lights, a hardcover art book and a schematic of an Atlas titan. It can be yours for only $249.99.
Yeah, you read it right.
I am ready to play Titanfall. It is most likely 30-40% of why I am getting an [amazon_link id=”B00CMQTVMI” target=”_blank” container=”” container_class=”” ]Xbox One[/amazon_link] but I think we have found the line of what I am willing to pay for a collector’s edition. I will just buy a Wii U or make a car payment.
Show of hands. Who remembers Battlefield 3’s story? Put your hand down “always has to feel important guy”, no one remembers Battlefield 3’s story.
Well Battlefield 4 is here to make sure you remember that it has a story and it is the anti-Call of Duty. Does Call of Duty have female players in multiplayer? Screw that, Battlefield has one as a main character. You can have a dog partner? Fu** your dog. Battlefield 4’s soldiers punch dogs in their stupid dog faces. Literally. A dog gets punch in the face.
I laughed.
Will the story be more memorable this time around? Who knows? They all blend together anyway. Terrorist with a name with too many consonants either is blowing up stuff or plans to blow up stuff and you as Brick Gunplay must stop him with your squad of varied racial and psychological stereotypes.
Dog punching is an added bonus.
