Lego is expanding their video game empire even more this fall with the release of Lego Marvel Super Heroes. A new teaser trailer has just been released and it shows off the shadow of the main villain which is Galactus. Then Tony Stark makes a quip because well…he’s Tony Stark.
As promised, Rockstar released a trio of trailers today for Grand Theft Auto V, each focusing on one of the protagonists in the game. The trailer below has all three which you can watch in a row. Each video is accompanied by a different song and already has me excited for the soundtrack possibilities. Michael’s video has Queen, Franklin has Jay Rock and Trevor is accompanied by Waylon Jennings.
Rockstar is very ambitious with the three person story arc. It looks like each protagonist will have his fair share of solo missions while also participating together as a trio in other story missions.
We may still get a cinematic trip to Sera as Variety is reporting that the [amazon_link id=”B002I0H79C” target=”_blank” container=”” container_class=”” ]Gears of War[/amazon_link] movie is back on track. Producer Scott Stuber (Battleship, Ted) has signed onto the project and Epic has agreed to work alongside Stuber’s Bluegrass Studios to get a script going and finance the film. After that, they can shop it around to the studios with Universal having first rights to option it.
Director Len Wiseman was last attached to Gears of War a few years back before things fell apart again for what seemed like the tenth time. If nothing can come of it this time, maybe it is time do be smart like Ken Levine with Bioshock and let the Gears movie ride off into the sunset.
Ubisoft announced that their new IP [amazon_link id=”B00BGHUS58″ target=”_blank” container=”” container_class=”” ]Watch Dogs[/amazon_link] would release on November 19th for the PS3, 360, Wii U and PC. The game will also be a PS4 launch title as well as be available on the next Xbox (whatever it may be named).
A new trailer was released to go along with the announcement titled “Out of Control” which you can watch below.
Question of the day: If you are getting a new PS4 or Xbox at launch will Watch Dogs be one of your next-gen purchases or will you stay with current-gen for the title?
Reports are swirling that veteran voice actor Kevin Conroy will not be brought in to do the voice of The Dark Knight in WB Montreal’s prequel [amazon_link id=”B00C7103DO” target=”_blank” container=”” container_class=”” ]Batman: Arkham Origins[/amazon_link]. Conroy has been the voice of Batman for over 20 years beginning in 1992 with Batman: The Animated Series.
The studio’a reasoning from reports appears to be they want a younger sounding actor since the game takes place in the hero’s early days. Because Kevin Conroy is not a professional voice actor and could not attempt to do a younger voice I guess.
Sorry for the sour grapes. Conroy has been the voice of Batman for the better part of my lifetime and is the voice I imagine in my head when I read comics. Add to this the fact that Ubisoft is ditching Michael Ironside in favor of a generic sounding every man in the new Splinter Cell and it has not been a fun time.

Sony has released a new developer video on their Playstation Blog that shows off the new Dualshock 4 controller. The design of the controller is discussed as well as the uses of the front touch pad. They also talk about how integral the share button will be in the future of PS4 gameplay. I absolutely love the look of the Dualshock 4 and think Sony hit a home run with the design.
Do you like to display high quality replicas from games or movies despite the fact that you don’t know where your next month’s rent is coming from? Or, unlike me, do you actually look good in cosplay and require only the best in replicas to complete your ensemble? Project Triforce is here for you.
They are taking pre-orders on the next set of items from Mass Effect which include the M-77 Paladin (seen above), the M-6 Carnifex and the Geth Pulse Rifle (seen below). These beauties will run you a cool $400 for the pistols and and even more mind-numbing $750 for the pulse rifle. But if you are going for quality, you have to pay for it.
Also, be sure and check out Project Triforce’s website which features amazing replicas from [amazon_link id=”B002I0H79C” target=”_blank” container=”” container_class=”” ]Gears of War[/amazon_link], [amazon_link id=”B007SRM5U6″ target=”_blank” container=”” container_class=”” ]Batman: Arkham City[/amazon_link] and more.
The tactical third person shooter based in the XCOM universe has gone through a long road to release. It was even considered dead and buried at one point. Now it has risen again and looks to be on its way to release.
Now called The Bureau: XCOM Declassified, the game will take place in the 60’s during the Kennedy presidency and is the origin story for the XCOM division that players took control of in last year’s [amazon_link id=”B006WQR3V0″ target=”_blank” container=”” container_class=”” ]XCOM: Enemy Unknown[/amazon_link].
I suck at strategy games. I am talking about an eternal kind of suck that comes from over 20 years of me trying and failing horribly. But shooting things in the face in a third person game? A little bit better at that.
The Bureau is being developed by 2K Marin, the team that made Bioshock 2. So I have initial thoughts that I will be bored through 75% of the game and then really enjoy the final parts.
The Bureau: XCOM Declassified releases on August 20th.
After 40 million votes and debates by no one that I know in person, Barry Sanders has been selected the cover athlete for the 25th anniversary version of Madden NFL. Almost 40 million votes were tallied in the bracket that pitted NFL legends against current players. It came down to Barry Sanders and Adrian Peterson with Sanders prevailing with 58 percent of the vote.
This makes me wonder who in the hell were the 42 percent that actually voted against Barry Sanders? I mean Vikings fans have got to account for like 7 percent. Did Oklahoma fans decide to drive to another state and use their internet to vote?
Do not be confused when in the year 2025 the game is titled Madden 25 2: Die Maddener.
