Weekend Box Office- October 18-20, 2013

Not even a blood-spattered Carrie could take down Gravity this week. For the third week in a row the Alfonso Cuarón film took the top spot at the box office grossing $31 million. It looks like the only movie that can bring it down to Earth will be Thor: The Dark World on November 8th.

The remake of the classic Stephen King novel and 1976 movie finished in third with $17 million ahead of all other new releases this week which included Escape Plan and The Fifth Estate.

3. Carrie- $17.0/ $17.0

4. Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2- $10.1/ $93.1

5. Escape Plan- $9.8/ $9.8

7. Enough Said- $1.8/ $10.8

8. The Fifth Estate- $1.7/ $1.7

9. Runner Runner $1.6/ $17.5

10. Insidious Chapter 2- $1.5/ $80.9
